Hello everyone!
Several type of ducts are passing in the ceiling of a room protected by FM200 system as follow:
1-Supply duct to the space
2-Return duct to the space
3-Fresh air duct to the space
4-Exhaust air duct to the space
5-A series of ducts that are crossing the protected room walls to serve other areas (without having a supply or return grill inside the protected room with the FM200)
-The motorized damper should be installed at the duct when penetrating the protected room for all the duct mentioned above (point 1/2/3/4/5) or it must only be installed for point (1/2/3/4)?
-As well the motorized damper must be a motorized smoke fire damper? or can be a normal motorized damper?
I already try to search in the NFPA 2001, but i was not able to find a reply.
Thank you very much for your help
