yep, and NX8 is up and running ;-)
BTW it also runs on Mac OS Lion.

Can I use NX8 with NX7 license? I have downloaded NX8 from ugs ftp site, installed it, but trying to start it, I got an error "NX requires a server_id feature in the license file". I contacted our nx seller, but still no answer from them :/

Wait a few more days; I believe the official release date is today. (but I could be wrong) Indeed you will need another license file.

I have a beta license file, probably that makes it working for me.

You must have an NX 8.0 license in order to run NX 8.0 (NX 7.5 will run on it as well).

As to the issue of not getting a response today, that was probably due to the fact that in the US and Canada, it was a national holiday (Labor Day).

log into GTAC using your webkey and then go to the license management and you can download it from there. as a reseller we have internal access for licenses for us & our customers and we can generate NX8 ones yet, but every customer I've directed to the GTAC site has been able to download there own that way.

I wanted to know how to get NX 8 working on Lion. I have a brand new MacBook Pro and I installed NX 8 and when I launch it, the icon in the dock bounces and then I get a apple error message.

Please contact GTAC. I've heard that there were some issues with this but they should be able to provide you with the proper procedure to follow to get NX up and running on the latest MAC OS.
