Good Day Everybody,
Can anyone help me with any book which indicates all the valve and instrumentation types that are used in Fossil power plant?
Like feed-water control valve, blowdown valve, safety valve, etc, and its use.
Any help is appreciated.

Best regards,

What level of book?

For basic stuff like you seem to be asking about, find yourself a boiler house somewhere nearby, introduce yourself to the operators, and ask if they have any Stationary or Operating Engineering materials around. Only a very few of them bite! [smile]

There is some information in Bahadori's book "Essentials of Oil and Gas Utilities: Process Design, Equipment, and Operations": try this link (Google books): Essentials of Oil and Gas Utilities

The best thing is to refer to relevant codes (ASME).
