Free standing ac unit 5 ton / direct expansion system

Hi all,

Is free standing ac unit or split ac unit considered to be a dx system , if so where can I find documents and drawings that highlights the components of air handling and condensing unit of free standing unit ( that also highlights the TEV In the unit ).
