Can anyone refer a manufacturer of fire treated SCL? particularly LSL? Does this combination even exist? I am specifically looking for a FRT sill plate (2x6 or 3x6)that yields high compression perpendicular to grain values relative to its sawn lumber counterparts. I think Weyerhaeuser used to have Timberstrand LSL with their proprietary Flak Jacket but appears to be discontinued.

Thank you

Try Hoover or Viance...both have structural products.

I'm currently working on a project in Massachusetts where the contractor declared that they could not get composite lumber pressure treated, and if they did it would void the warranty. We ended up redesigning everything to remove any FRT composite lumber (including a truss as a header in an exterior wall). It's a Type III residential building, so the exterior walls and headers need to be FRT, but luckily most of the openings are small enough for dimension lumber.
