Fully Threaded SHCS 2

Any tips on where to potentially sourced stainless steel socket head cap screws with the following specs:

5/16-18
Fully threaded (critical)
Lengths of 2.25”/3.5”

SS alloy not critical

McMaster-Carr has 2.5 and 3.0 inch long, fully threaded, Stainless Steel, 5/16-18 Socket Head Cap Screws

We already buy those, need 2-1/4 + 3-1/2 unfortunately.

Frustratingly they are available in alloy steel but not SS.

What's your quantity? Buy longer and cut them off.
Or go to a specialized fastener house, like Fastenal or many others.

If you cut them off and then they need to be re-passivated, if remaining stainless steel is an important factor.

Contact a screw machine shop and have them quote it for you. Make complete.

So will these have an undercut at the head?
The stress at the shank/head with full threads can be very problematic.
