Hi everybody

I'm using solidworks with a HP Laptop Pavilion zd7100 which mounts a 64Mb GeForce Go Fx5200. Recently i've had some problems with the video refresh (sometimes the whole images in the drwaing area disappear) so i looked for more recent drivers. From what i understand from Nvidia website i can only download drivers for standard boards and not for mobile ones.

Do any of you know where i can find the most recent drivers? I couldn't find anything on the HP website.

Thanks

Generally the drivers for laptop systems are supplied by the laptop's manufacturer. If you don't find in the HP site, try in websites like

With a GeForce-family card you are likely to have visualization problems with SW. The same could be said for ATI Radeon family, however. Have you always had the problems you report, with that computer, or did it begun after some system modification (software? hardware? O.S. Update?...)?

Check these threads - thread559-121966 & thread559-60484

I did a search on SWx Corp website and that card is not supported. [noevil]

Thanks to everybody. I'll check the sites.
I changes OS on the laptop from a XP Home to a XP Pro; I had no problems at all before the change. It's not a major issue anyway; when grafics disappear it's sufficent to reduce or expand the window size to refresh the contents.
