Glass Break EPO Requirements?

Hello,

I am trying find out the requirements for Glass Break EPOs. WHat BTU/hr threshold in a boiler room requires the equipment to be tied into a Glass Break EPO?

There is a situation with (3) 800,000 BTU/hr domestic water heaters in a room. Do these require glass break EPO?

Check the mechanical code you are designing under. There is usually a BTU/h system size threshold where the design has to comply with ASME CSD-1 or NFPA 85. You’ll probably find your answer in either of those. I think it’s 400 MBH input.
