gradation report

Attached is a gradation report. I assume it may be sand / manufactured sand.Please confirm

Also advise if it can be used for pipe trench embedments

Your test is 2 years old. I would ask for a newer test result (within a few months.

But anyways, from a quick look it looks like a well graded sand with fines less than 10% so I ( the guy on the internet confirms) it would be ok to use. Thats typical fines content limit in a spec I see.

Check your coefficient of uniformity and coefficient of curvature and if they correspond to well graded then should be fine.

However, in saying that, depending on your application you could backfill it with clay or non-well graded sand and it would be ok....

Its all about what your spec says...
