Hi folks,
How do I check that I have the required graphics for my CAD Application.Suppose the application demands 1 GB of graphics.The adapter properties shows total available graphics memory as 1664 Mb and total video memory as 32 MB.

How do I validate my requirements?Request your support pls.

Hi folks,
Any updates on this?Awaiting your reply.

What is your CAD Application?

Catia can run on just about any Graphics Card, it is just up to you on how well you want it to run.

Hi folks,
I just need a clarity here.If the application demands 1 GB of graphics RAM ,then should I consider the total graphics memory or the video Memory?

@sudhakarn

I would think it would be graphics RAM unless you're doing video/animation processing in which you might want to go with a card that sums both GB values.

I know in Creo Simulation Live, they say that you need the following specs:
- Dedicated NVIDIA CUDA graphics card
- Minimum 4GB video RAM with 8GB video RAM recommended on the GPU (graphics processing unit)
They specify on the video memory.

Just my opinion. Hope this helps.

You should consider the total graphic memory/ In your case your graphic cards is fine for your needs
