I found an old thread here regarding attachment to pre-stressed T beam ceilings and or beams.

I need to hang 4 X 65" TVs from the ceiling in the center of this Sports Bar. The building is Tilt-con Constructed with Concrete T beam. How should I attach the ceiling mount basses. If this were a poured slab ceiling, I would just use concrete fasteners, but from experience attaching to the walls of other tilt-con structures, I know that this stuff is much denser than poured slab. I want to avoid hitting stressing cables, and have a good attachment for the weight of the TVs. Below are some pictures of the space.

Your insights and assistance are greatly appreciated.

Scan ahead of time and fasten accordingly to miss the strands. The TVs can't weight much. A few Tapcons and I think you'd be fine.

I would fasten to the sides of the tees, not the bottom. Less chance of hitting strands, and your fasteners are in shear, not tension.

Around here, they mount all the TV's to light weight aluminum frames. In addition to the frames accommodating the location of fasteners as required to suit the prestressed stuff, they allow the TV's to be easily removed when the crowd gets rowdy. (Actually they move the TV's around depending on the event showing).

Rebar scan for the strands & powder actuated fasteners for the mounts themselves? Hilti X-Us have great pullout resistance if you are worried about withdrawl on a horrizontal surface.

I wouldn't use powder activated fasteners with high strength concrete like that... could shatter and reduce load capacity. Tapcons sound really good...
