Hi ksudavid (Industrial),
I'm sorry to reopen the question about HELICAL PROTRUSION ALONG A CURVE. I've tried to wrap a sketch around a sweep surface but the tool accept only surfaces generated by cone, cylinder and torus. Any other kind of surfaces won't be selected from the "Wrap a Sketch" tool. What's wrong in my working flow? Any suggestions?
Thank you in advance

Hi, is there anybody that can help me? thanks a lot

I'm not sure if this would help but:

[ol]
[li]Sketch the curve that will be the path[/li]
[li]Add the sketch that will be cross section of the helical protrusion on a perpendicular plane to the path[/li]
[li]Create the helical protrusion using a sweep feature [/li]
[li]In the sweep feature option go to the TWIST definition and define the helical properties number of turns or turns per length[/li]
[/ol]

You will end with something like the image below
sweeptwist.jpg

Best regards
Diego
