Hello All,

Can anyone here teach me how to use the CATIAV5 DOWNWARD COMPATIBILITY to change CATIAV5 R32 into a lower Release like R20? I accidentally saved my R20 CAD data into R32. Thank You!

just open the utility and choose the downward Release... it will be a dead model though...

Thanks @LWolf for your answer. But ungortunately it doesn't generate a CATPart when I run this Tool. Is there any particular settings do I need to consider? Kindly refer the attached file.

well, it all depends on what you want to do... but if you want to convert just one file, press the "Member" button to locate your file, tick the "Select pointed documents"
in Rename Criteria: tick the Append string and write something in the field provided (e.g. "_CONVERTED"),
in Output Options: tick Keep at same location
press OK
In the main window:
choose Selected operation to Convert and then to which CATIA version,
highlight your file (not sure if this is necessary, but to be sure...)
and then hit run
Output report will be saved in Target Directory...
and your converted (and renamed) file is located alongside the old file
