Hi,
We are working on an older building (built around 1972) that is supplied by a large Buffalo air handler unit. What I have from the name plate is this:

Shop Order # 71N-7303
Size 390-Type BPCM

It is now run by a VFD but I think originally was not.
I would like to know the design CFM and capacity etc…for this unit. Can anyone help please...
thanks,

Buffalo air handler is still in business, located in southern Virginia.I can get their number if you need it. We have their units in our Hospital

I have data for 390 model J units with low, medium and high presasure BLD fans....do you know the pressure at which the fan runs?

I believe this unit is a medium pressure system. As I mentioned, at present the fan is controlled by a VFD, at about 50% speed.

Commercial use for a 390 with a 40.5 inch fan is 34K to 42K cfm and the fan operates from 2.5" to 5" wc SP.

30 hp (2.5")-50 hp (5") motor.
