Help with Pump Selection

I need a pump package with low flow ~.1gallons/hour and high pressure 500 to 700 psi.&nbsp;&nbsp;in addition I need to regulate the pressure to keep it crudely (+/-50psi) consistent.&nbsp;&nbsp;The wetted materials shuld probably be 316 stainless.<br><br>What kind of pump is best?&nbsp;&nbsp;What is the best way to control its pressure?&nbsp;&nbsp;WHere can I get one?

This is a very low flow rate (.002 gpm).&nbsp;&nbsp;Your leakage at 500 psi will be higher than your delivered flow.&nbsp;&nbsp;Is leakage a concern? <br>Your best bet is a gear or a swash-plate piston pump.&nbsp;&nbsp;Do have any other options besides 316SS for the pumping elements? I would not use 316SS for the gear material. <br>The pressure can be regulated using a pressure regulating valve.
 
I would consider a pressure pump at these flow rates. If you can live with a batch, make a vessel to place a gallon into and pressurize the top of the vessel with a gas. You can use an inert gas like nitrogen from a bottle. The regulators should control pressure rather well.<br><br>In my view the most difficult part will be flow regulation, you did not specify how close your flow control requirements are. If your regulation is not required to be close you can often get by with an orifice. You did not specifiy a back pressure. if your delivered pressure does not change much you may control flow with an orifice and the pressure pump controls. I would however suggest to look into what is available from the hydraulic parts suggested by the other person. There are some small orifices available, you might get luckly. If you need close regulation of flow get back with me. I think there might be other possibilities.
 
John;<br><br>What fluid are you pumping? If it is hydraulic oil an air-oil intensifier would meet your requirements nicely without any bypass or slip.
