Does anyone out there have electrical/physical properties datasheets for HI-CON steel overhead conductor?
My Google searches only turned up one hit from SASK POWER: Link They list #6 and #8 HICON H.S.C. – 130 STRANDED 3-WIRE. The #8 size is what I need and I have no reason not to believe their figures, but I'd prefer to verify the figures against a manufacturer/public source.
I realize this material isn't commonly used anymore. I've been doing utility structure strength analysis for almost 6 years and have only run into HI-CON in a couple of instances over the years. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!
