I need a pump that can pump pressurized liquid R134a or equivalent with a a low possibility of a two phase mixture around a closed loop. The pressure on the inlet side may be as high as 50 psi and the outlet may need to be as high as 200 psi. I need a flow rate of around 1 gpm. Bigger is better in my case.
I heard that refrigerant will corrode some pumps synthetic parts and I should use a hydraulic diaphragm pump. Cost is an issue in my case as the device is just a prototype. Pump leakage is unacceptable as it is refrigerant and will boil as soon as it hits atmosphere.
Any ideas or sources of manufactures would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
