Hello,
I am considering nickel brazing as a fastening method for a metal tube. I have a high temp service item, approx 500 - 750 deg C. The tube will be pressurized to 1000 psi. I am concered about strength of the joint at temperature. The tube material will be either 316sst, inconel 625 or Hasteloy X. The environment is somewhat corrosive. Hydrogen will be the gas pressurized, I am not familiar with nickel or other materials in terms of embrittlment. I have been searching for a filler material and high temp service strength data.
Can anyone please recommend a material, or a location to find the required strength data.
Thank You
