Does anyone know of a wheel nut indicator produced from steel or other high melting point material. Standard indicators melt around 128 deg C and I have an application where I need high temp alternatives

What is a wheel nut indicator? I have much automotive and fastening experience, but I don't recognize this item by this name.

Would it be easier to use nascar brake paint to indicate the temp on the nuts. Many racing bodies use this paint of differnt colors to indicate the temp that component is reaching, painting the nuts the different colors would show the highest temp it is getting, scott
