I am a chemical manufacturer that uses a process similar to degassing of steel to product a desired chemical. The problem is the tube I use to inject the gas has to be replaced every 20 days or so. I am using a carbon tube and it fails due to corrosion at the molten aluminum bath interface(1300F). What is used for the injection tube in furnaces? or any other ideas?
