Hole on a curved face 1

I recently took a new job and have to switch from Solidworks to NX. It's been proving challenging. The one thing I am trying to do right now and I have searched (believe me I have searched) is how to place a 45 degree hole on a curved surface. I have two spots i need to do this on, the first is at the top part of a chamfer, NX is not letting me select the chamfer for anything. The other place is at a hard 90, but it was generated via a trim body. Is there any suggestion on the best way to do this. The overall profile is 8 radii. I've attached a JPEG showing where I need to the holes to go, the hole needs to be 45 dgrees downward

I would create a plane through your point at the right angle to allow you to insert a hole through your part.

Do you know how you would do this on SolidWorks ?

Create A datum plane first. You can place the hole on it.

Have you tried putting a Coordinate system in, with the correct angles and location?
 
To create a hole in NX, you need a position , which could be a point in a sketch or, a general "position" such as an existing arc center/ endpoint etc, and , if the hole isn't normal to the surface, something to define the hole direction.
by default the hole dialog is set to "normal to face", switch this to "along vector".

In the image below i have projected 3 points onto a datum plane, these points are close/on the curved face.
there is an angled datumplane in the bottom used for the direction.
