I've see a lot of those over the years,
but this one probably is a conflagration of everything...

Come to Spring Green, WI and visit the home of Frank LLoyd Wright, "famous architect". If the column was in his way, just remove it. After all he could still walk under the sagging ceiling. If the roof leaked, that was only when it rained.

Can't beat that location in Spring Green as it was the site of a genuine House of Horrors.

Wright knew how to work the angles. All the labor around his place and his drafts persons were students willing to work for nothing, just to hang out with him. I once had to stop in about a road that would cut over his land. In November the drafting room was "heated" with a fireplace in one end. The guys there all had coats and gloves on, working for free.

The second House of Horrors is in Weston FL - right before the Everglades northwest of Miami.
