Hot-tap on flexible hose

I'm from a pipeline background and normally, if we need to to install a tee or a valve, we perform a hot-tap which allows us to install a valve while there is product in the line and under pressure.

I have a similar situation with a flexible hose. It has a 2" ID and is rated to 1500psi, similar to a wire-braid medium pressure hydraulic hose.

Is there a way tap into the hose and install a valve while there is product (diesel) and a maximum of 15 bar pressure in the line?

A link to a product of a supplier would be appreciated.

I'm sorry if worded my question incorrectly or wasn't specific enough but I do not think that the question itself is ridiculous.

I want to safely tap into the low points of a very long hose, divided into pressurised sections by non-return valves, to drain fluid out of it. Once the fluid is drained, the hose will be cut into sections and disposed of.

I am obviously not talking about welding a tee onto the hose. I thinking some clamp arrangement that will allow us to safely tap and drain the line.

Just disconnect the hose. Clear as much as possible first then just disconnect.

I understand that you were not thinking welding to the hose, however, what you want to do is still impossible.

The steel wire in hoses is high tensile and so very difficult to cut through. Even if there was a device that could clamp around the hose, breaking into the hose would introduce a massive amount of debris to the fluid.

As the hose flexes, half of the rubber is in compression and the other half is in tension, it would be impossible to seal it.

There is one rule about modifying pressure hoses...don't do it!

Buy a new hose and some fittings and do it properly.
