House design

Is there a way to find structural engineering firm with with specialist experience in house design? I ask because of my review of house design that appears to have some questionable design, but I am retired for a number of years so a review by a structural engineer with experience in house design would be helpful.

I'm fairly well versed in house design and my wife is a veritable expert. Like EngineeringEric said, table your concerns here and we'll work through them together. There tends to be a lot about residential design that will look -- and sometimes be -- questionable, particularly to an engineer with ICI experience that's used to real load paths and such.
