How do I activate and apply self contact in Ansys?

Hi All

I have experience with Abaqus , but I cant find the same procedure existing in Abaqus to define self contact in Ansys, also didn't find a tutorial on net. could anybody give some guidelines ?

Either define contacting surfaces manually or set "Search Across" to "Anywhere"
in automatic contact generation.

Use a small enough timestep.

Thank you but these ones can't be found in Ansys 18 Workbench , are you sure they aren't changed?

Both options (manual and automatic contact creation) are available in 18.2.
You should go through a basic tutorial how contacts are created in
Workbench Mechanical.
