how do I map an NX attribute back to the teamcenter "Reference Designator" attribute ?

The reference designator I am referring to is in the teamcenter bom. We are using NX9 with teamcenter 9

You just need to modify NX Mapping file for this. In TC command export the mapping file, edit the mapping attribute information and re-import.
