I have a hard time to produce coloured PDF with line thickness applied. Anyone knows how to do it? It can be easily done in CATIA.

I mean a A0 drawing. Not screen shot.

I use It installs as a printer, but creates PDF files instead of actually printing.

Thanks very much.

My company has Adobe Distiller installed. But it didn't help much. Because UG A0 drawing has to be ploted. And when I plot PDF file it turns out black and white and no line thickness at all.

Hi,

1) Could you provide more information, eg. UG version ?
2) Please try to find this topic in forum archive.
Generaly you should add postscript printer and print to file. Disstiler should listen this folder and convert ps files to PDF.

HI,

Use PQMGR to setup Postscrip printer similar to this;
--------------------
PLRID=PS_TRUECOLOR
INTEGRITY_ID=0012
DSPNM=UGIIPS
PLTVEN=POSTSCRIPT
TYPE=E
SWITCHES=/AS/RGB/AR
OUTMOD=2
COMLN=
QUENAM=\\MYNODE\PS_TRUE
OUTDIR=
MSGLN=
NPENS=16
DXBET=0
STPSZ=1440

If You have any problem with ploting and seting (eg. widht)please reffer to UGII_BASE_DIR\\UGDOC\html_files\ploter.pdf
