Hi guys,

i am new with this type of coupling,my workplace usually use coupling with rubber bushing
we have 1 coupling that i'm not familiar with that is a disc coupling type for high pressure oil pump, and recently the disc packs of the coupling is broken tore in pieces
so my question is,if i want to order a new one,can i buy just the disc packs or should i buy the whole new set of coupling that include the hub and spacer? if i can buy just the disc packs, how do u determined the correct size for ordering?

thnks guys,best regards from malaysia!

You can buy the disk pack and the bolts as replacement parts.

All you need to know is the manufacturer, model, and size of the coupling.

Shaharudin,

You can replace the disk packs, however depending on the speed of the application you may have a balanced coupling. In that case you may want to replace the entire transmission assembly (adapter - disc pack- center member -disc pack - adapter) with another balanced unit. You may find replacing the disc packs quite challenging due their precise fits and your lack factory assembly fixtures to aid assembly. Typically these couplings don't fail very often, so I am very curious to why you lost a disc pack. Nothing lasts forever, but you should have a long service life on this product.

When it comes to couplings we are always here to help.
