suppose my objective :
creating two shafts
1. shaft ∅20x 50 L
2. shaft ∅ 30 x 100L.

what i would do is in solidworks.
1.i'll create two shafts as differnt part files.
2. create complete drafting file for using any one of the shaft, let's say ∅20 x 50L.
3. save as a copy that drafting file for another shaft and then while opening it, i will click references

4. link that another ∅30x 100L part file to ∅20 x 50L, since both are in same shape , it will automatically changes the dimensions as per the newly linked part file and we just have to save it to pdf or anything we can do, thus it will reduce time of drafting once again for ∅30 x 100L shaft

please tell me how i can complete this same task in NX ...

Right click in the assembly tree → Replace Component.

It only works with components created from the same base model.

Update the views afterwards.

The REPLACE COMPONENT is done in the drawing file.
When renaming the drawing file be sure to read the dialog to make sure the proper file is getting renamed.
You can use components created from a different base model, but you will have to reassociate the dimensions and drafting entities after the views are updated.
