I need to create a symbol in NX11 with Teamcenter. I can create it in NX native and use the symbol. But in NX11 via teamcenter my symbols list does not show the new symbol.

What does it take to get new symbols visible in NX11.0.2.7 when it runs through Teamcenter?

Also, i need to get a .svg file imported to use as a symbol. How can i import or convert a .svg into NX. I am trying to get a QR code into NX as a symbol.

There is a customer default to set whether the custom symbols should be saved in Teamcenter or windows, and if this is set to Teamcenter, you need to set in what folder these are stored.
The syntax in that field is :
name-of-folder-visible-in-reuse-library|user-that-owns-the-folder:name-of-folder-where-the-cs-are-stored

example:
Casting symbols|tomas:custom casting symbols
PMI symbols|tomas:custom pmi symbols

Didn't work. I tried that before i posted here.

when you say "get new symbols visible in NX11.0.2.7 when it runs through Teamcenter"
Is that in the resourcebar / reuselibrary or is it on the drawing sheet ?

Svg files can be loaded into Inkscape and from there exported into .dxf if that is ok.
Inkscape is a freeware , Open source software for image editing.
