Dear all,

I have to define temperatures on one surface. I have 3 regions (250K , region where I have linear increase from 250K to 350K , 350K region). Temperature boarders are at y=0;0.2;0,5;1. How it is possible to do that? I am using Femap 10.2.

Best wishes and thank You in advance,
Rei7

This is kind of a late post but maybe it will help. I've never done that in Femap before but you might look at creating a Data Surface. If you're in the "Create Loads on Nodes" dialog box, on the right side are 3 options under "Method." One of these is Data Surface. Check out section 7.2.5.1 (Data Surface Definition Methods) of the Femap help files; there's an example of applying a pressure that varies along a wing--looks very similar to what you are trying to do.
