I am using v9.3 and want to extract the location of cross section centroid a beam element having a standard shape (angle or channel) through API programming. It seems that there is no data showing relevant information. Only the values for I1, I2, I12, Y shear area, Z shear area, torsional constant, Y shear center offset, Z shear center offset are shown.

Is it not available in 9.3?
if it is the case, how can we derive the location of centroid using the data already shown?

create a point at CG surface:

Geometry>Point>Methods> CG of Surface

then you can get the coordinates of the point by listing it

In my case, the line element (beam) with standard shape (angle) was used. Can we draw any point in the proterties editor?
