Hey Guys,

Been on this forum for a while now and this is my first post.

In what ways can you make felt material conductive below 200 ohms resistivity?

Thanks.

For how long? With what changes? Your blanket requirement leaves out all constraints.

> wet with saltwater
> embed wires
> embed or coat with graphite
> coat with conductive mylar

There are felts (i don't know if they are wool or synthetic) that have very fine metal wire in them.
They are for static dissipation.
There are also 100% metallic felts, not very soft though.

Are you making the felt, or are trying to make stock felt conductive?

Best to you,

It must be dry and it not scratch glass surfaces. I'm abit hesitant about using metals such as silver. Thanks for the replies, any more great ideas?

Are you making it from scratch or trying to modify an existing product?
