How to scale curve proportionally with the body..... 1

I have a problem with scale a curve proportionally with a body.

I explain in more detail:

1. I created thread using Swept method.

2. I manufactured it with "Variable Countour" method using "Curve/Point" drive and selected my helix which I had created in previous step.

3. I need to scale body 1.23:1. After scaling I found that I can't use my helix as driving curve because it didn't scale with the body

So, the question is How to scale some curve (helix in my example) proportionally with the body?

Rather than scale the original curve, try creating a...

Insert -> Curve from Curves -> Offset in Face...

...and select the edge of the 'groove' and offset it half the width of the face which forms the bottom of the 'groove', selecting that same face as the reference face.

It seems to me that in offsetting the curve you're creating a new entity and would therefore have to go back and re-associate all of the geometry with the new curve.

Going back to your original questions users from NX-5 and earlier will by now be aware that much of the old transform function from has been moved to the new dynamic move in NX-6. However the old transform function still exists supporting those kinds of functions that the dynamic move doesn't cater for, among those there is a curve scaling option that ought to help scale the curve by the same amount as the body. You might find that a quicker and more convenient way.

He's not using the curve for any construction, simply as the something to reference when creating the toolpath, which can be easily edited so as to reference the new curve.
