Dear Abaqus user,
I would like to know if it is possible to specify anisotropic orientations for every elements of a set in an inp file.
Basically I am automatically computing the inp file based on medical imaging and image processing techniques.
I extracted the mesh, the boundary conditions, the load and the fiber orientation for each triangle.
I successfully managed to have results with all the components (except the orientation) with a hyperelastic isotropic model.
I am using S3 shell elements.
I read the section 2.2.4 on ORIENTATION of the Abaqus/Standard User’s Manual and I saw no mention of element wise orientations. Is it even possible and if not what are the possibilities to overcome this problem?
Best,
Pierre
