Hi
I am trying to put Roman Numerals in NX Drafting Note. But not able to do so. I don't want to write (I II) directly. I want some format or some key word to create Roman Numerals. (i.e.-- If you press Alt+208 you will find this symbol (╨).
Thanks in Advance

So you're saying that using strings of uppercase charactes such as I, V, X, C, M isn't adaquate? The reason I ask is because I'm not aware of ANY font (and by this I mean all of the TrueType and OpenType font out there) which has set aside special characters just for use when creating so-called 'Roman Numerals'.

Hi John
Thanks for your quick response. I am completely agree with your suggestion of using the English Capital Letters. But some places I use it as Symbols. (To reduce confusion between two). Where can I find all the special characters of NX?
Thanks in Advance

But you don't understand, there are NO special symbols for 'Roman Numerals'. They are what they are, period!

But before we go further, I need to know what version of NX you are using?

OK, perhaps this might provide you with some help:

Also attached are a couple of files which shows the control character map for creating special symbols as part of an NX annotation object. Note that starting with NX 8.0, which now supports TrueType and OpenType fonts, your options with respect to what the content of a note can be in NX is greatly enhanced and while all of the existing 'special characters' (as shown in the attachments) are still supported, the use of so-called 'standard fonts' goes way beyond that.
