How TXV controls flow?

If positive displacement compressor (such as scroll) has constant flow no matter the resistance in the system, how can TXV control flow?

Or it doesn't?

The compressor compresses a gas, pressure just increases if you limit flow. Also compression efficiency will decrease with higher pressure.

you have constant volumetric flow through the compressor, but not constant mass flow.
