I am looking for standard dimensions for HTD 14M tooth profile. I got the overall dimensions from a power transmission catalog however I am looking for more specific tooth geometry dimensions.
You might be able to get the info from a gear shop or send then a sprocket and have them plot it. I think the machine they do this with is a Klinge... There is a company called IDC that has one somewhere around Detriot.
The teeth can either be hobbed or
shaped so the profiles can be different.
Power Transmission Catalogue is an
ok reference from what I have seen.
The information is also in the machineries
handbook at least the later editions.
In many cases you need to know the specific belt manufacturer, as HTD is becoming increasingly used as a generic term while many manufacturers are changing the form just enough to mess you up.
