If you believe that some software will grant you knowledge on how to design hvac systems for pharmaceutics, you would do better in finding someone more experienced than you.
pharma systems require complex ventilation schemes as well as special heating systems in some areas.
I do not need the software to gain knowledge. software can help me to make the calculations easier. The required room condition is 22+/-2, 55% RH. room classification range from Grade B to D. Air change rate , room pressure differential and RH requirements are the critical part while designing the HVAC system. for commercial HVAC system there are many design software. But i was wondering if there is any software for pharmaceutical hvac design. in subcontinent we do not require any heating.
most of good design software allows you to create space profiles that you would put specific air change requirements.
many software packages have automatic assistant to help you to calculate ASHRAE, CIBSE, DIN or similar requirements, but you can never ever rely on it to be completely accurate, but have to check it vs. code requirements, that's only rough help to speed up your work.
for pharma, i don't believe there is such assistant, and pharma requirements are so detailed and specific that you have to make your profiles based on that yourself.
i don't exclude possibility that some large design firms specialized in pharma designe did not develop some tailored packages, but they will never release it to the outside.
