In a packaging line for a pharmaceutical product. We are going to move a wall four feet. One room will be 4 feet longer and the second room 4 feet shorter. It is relative easy to move the wall. How the HVAC is affected, if affected, by the changes?

If your ventilation rate is based on "so many cfm per square foot of floor area" then you have changed the areas, and thus the required ventilation.

Basing ventilation on floor area is rule of thumb stuff, not engineering.

If you are moving the wall because the process in the room has changed, and there is an associated change in ventilation requirements then you will need to rebalance the HVAC.

If you are moving the wall because you are installing new equipment then the heat loads have probably changed, and you will need to rebalance the HVAC.
