I have two different Stress Result ( Before Animate & While Animate of Snap Fit) in Ansys

Hi,

I'm trying/evaluating snap fit engage and it's safety with the material ABS of my one of developing product. When I try to simulate base snap attached plate fixed and top shell snap locking cover move towards the fixed snap attached plate to engage and lock, I have got two out put stress result before animate and one changing result while animate.

Does anyone please explain, what I might have done wrong.

Time is different in the two pictures.

Hi, L K,

The first picture is before start the animation, and max Stress is 0.033 MPa
But, when I start/click the play button to animate the snap fit engage it's change the max stress to 130.8 MPa. and second image is intermediate snap while animating.

Hope this address your quection or did I miss anything understanding or doing simulation?
