I have column and beam with a profile C using cold formed in general cross section in such a way to have a section like in the picture. and connect the beam and column eith a steel plate and using bolt to connect beam and column to those plate. i have a problem when i started to calculate there is a text that "bolts are too close to plate edge or outside of the connected plate" in one of the bolt. I used splice to connect column and the plate in joint. Also i used bolt grid and contact to bolt beam to the plate. What should i do? where is the problem? i already tried to increase the distance between bolt and the plate edge but it doesn't work.
