Hi,
Based on experience can anyone guide for greasing of those fan & shaft bearings, who are not operating for a long time or stand by. What would be the reliability plan like greasing & its frequency for non-operating fans or any test run?
These fans are for gas coolers at compression sites.
Thanks in advance

Regreasing is to replenish grease lost or degraded during operation. If you are not operating, there is no need to regrease. Regreasing under these conditions will fill the bearing with grease and push the seals (if any) out of the bearings allowing contaminants in.

Grease the bearings when the fans come off of operation and leave them until they go back into operation. It wouldn't hurt to rotate the fans on a periodic basis but just a simple rotation won't deplete the grease to a point where you need to regrease the bearings.

Bearings that aren't rotating - especially in a high vibration environment (like next to a compressor) - are susceptible to false binelling.
