Maybe is not the fastest way, but the better is to convert the DWG from autocad into DXF to open it in the I-Deas Drafting, and then in I-DEAS Drafting select the lines you wanna export and go to Export -> To solids -> To workbench. This will copy the selected info into I-DEAS 3D Workplane.

Good Luck.

Thank you for you answer, I've converted the DWG archive in DXF but, I can't open it in I-DEAS Drafting, I don't know how to do that., I do not understand well the menu... if you could tell me how to do i'll be grateful whit you. I have the version I-Deas NX 11 Series.

Thanks again.

You need to open the file.
I.e, in drafting, select File / Import /Dxf-file
Click Done.

Select the input-file, and if your translator-options of choice.
Finally click OK.

And Remember that I-DEAS and spaces on names or folders are enemies. So try to use name without spaces or folders without spaces.

Greetings
