Inferred dimension issue

I like the inferred dimension option in the sketch environment over the explicit options (horizontal, vertical, etc) and have used inferred extensively over the last few years. Just recently I've experience a change in the inferred option work flow. Up until recently the inferred option would allow me to make a first selection and if that was not what I wanted I could always make a second selection. For instance, if I wanted to dimension the position of a line as opposed to the length of that line, I would pick the line and the inferred option would give me the length and then I could move the cursor over to another object, select that object and the inferred option would give me a dimension to position the line. However, now it seems after I make the first selection I can no longer make a second selection. So, once I make me first selection I'm stuck with it. Have I inadvertently changed some setting? Can anyone please help?

Thank you,
Trent

I've experienced the same. If we're talking about the same thing, even though both the first and second selection options have the green arrow, you should be able to pick the second selection option in the menu and select the geometry you want. This bugs me, and I'm not sure when it showed up. Probably with NX10.

Was appeared definately not in NX10, earlier, maybe in NX9.
Also try to reset the dialog settings by clicking the round arrow icon in the upper-right corner.

Lockdain,
Resetting the dialog options fixed. Thank you soooo much. This was driving me crazy!
