Hi,

I have a problem with True Type fonts. I was writing some texts in a drawing using TT fonts (Thick Fonts) and there was nothing wrong with printing also. Then after a few days when I print the drawing, inside of the TTF texts appear empty, I mean texts appear but only the outlines af the letters, not the solid color. Print Preview is also the same. Has I changed a setting without notice? Does anyone know how to solve? Thanks in advance.

a variabel is not good in autocad.

Do the following in autocad:
Press --> textill
Press --> 1

Now the problem normally is away.

Thanks a lot. You mean TEXTFILL right? I didn't notice that variable before. Wish you and everyone a happy new year.

There are a few things that cause TrueType (TTF) text (as well as solid filled areas or plines) to appear or plot unfilled. (although I have read you have a solution, hopefully this will help someone else):

SHADEMODE (make sure it is set to 2D)
TEXTFILL (make sure it is set to 1)
FILL (make sure it is set to 1)
MVIEW's HIDEPLOT is not ON for the viewport
Uncheck "Hide Objects" in the Plot Dialog Box

Also if you are in an isometric view (read: Not PLAN) then this happens to 2D Solids, Plines with widths, Donuts.
