Dear Sir

I have a simple question in my mind.

As the plant pre commissioning and hydraulic flushing, cleaning, air purging start, the control valve must be taken off, but the temperature transmitter, flow transmitter, control valve actuator are also required to be take off or not?

Thank you very much.

I might forget some situations. It may be common for some to isolate flow, pressure, level trandmitters with the manifold valve etc. Offline instrumentation is not significant. Perhaps fes temperature thermowells would be bothered; unless initiating a major steamout exceeding the calculation - more likely for longer wells in large pipe than such below about NPS 10 perhaps. Most transmitters handle large pressures etc.

Dear koba78

Hydraulic pressure flushing, a kind of water flushing to flush out these foreign materials such as sand, rust and dirt. When drum are used a water reservoir, their vent valve must be open until finishing of water flushing.

Safety valve, check valve, rupture disk, orifice plate or flow element, mixer, analyzer, thermocouple, PCV,control valve(except butterfly type), TSO valve.must be removed before flushing.

BTW, Any one know whey piping 's O ring joint can't not be
pressurized when flushing take place.
