i want to know does any standard allow of using integral seat surface in ASTM A216 GR. WCB valve body material.(valve type: cast steel globe valve).
there's customer enquiry in which they need intergal seat surface with 13% cr. weld overlay but they first need a validation from any standard which allow to 13% cr. weld on WCB body material.
Can you all guide me in detail about this and which clause of any steel valve standard can provide a validation of this kind of practice.
(i read some standard which clearly stated to use integral seat in Austentic S.S valve body material, but no clear confirmation regarding WCB.)
