interaction: controlling penetration

In the interaction module I've created an interaction property with friction coeff. how can I control the penetration of a slave node into the master surface?

are you modelling with abaqus, if so, use the hcrit parameter in the contact pair definition or look in the manual for the card *contact interference

Refine slave mesh much more than master

I'm modelling with abaqus and I want to control hcrit and not avoid penetration...
