interlink expressions not updating with reusable component replacement?

I am adding a reusable componets and I want to interlink an expression to it. In the assembly navagator I can right click on the component and choose edit reusable comonent and I can nicely choose something else. When I do that, the intelink expression is still tied to the old part. If I do a replace comonent it will work and reference the new part, but you don't get that easy to use menu that tells you about the componet your selecting. Is there a way to prevent reusable components from refrencing a previous part?

Not that I'm aware of. Perhaps you should open an ER suggesting that this should work the same for both approaches.
